Interested staff members are invited to apply for the position of HOD Haematology.
The incumbent will be the lead in the Haematology Department with the following responsibilities:
- Setting goals for performance and deadlines in a manner that complies with the company’s plans and visions
- Organizing workflow and ensuring that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks
- Monitoring employee productivity and providing constructive feedback and coaching
- Performing laboratory tests
- Training of Medical technologists and Technical Assistants
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology
- Registered Medical Technologist
- Five (5) years relevant experience in Haematology
- Proven experience in a supervisory position
- Experience in the preparation and conducting assessment for ISO15189 Accreditation
- Proficient with Laboratory Information System
